Promoting Leadership Potential for Women in Hepatology
The Women's Initiative Committee has launched a new mentorship program to develop leadership skills for women in hepatology.
AASLD Call for Mentee Applications
The AASLD Women's Initiatives Committee is pleased to announce a new 12-month mentorship program with the goal of promoting the development of leadership skills among women in hepatology, including aspects unique to female practitioners.
AASLD members who are within five years of completion of their fellowship in North America are encouraged to apply to this program. Mentees will be paired with a senior AASLD faculty member and have the opportunity to meet virtually on a bimonthly basis, along with exclusive access to interactive webinars on topics of interest to the mentee group.
Please note that to be considered for this program, you must be:
- An AASLD Member
- Located in North America
- Female MD/DOs within five (5) years of fellowship completion, or
- Female Advanced Practice Provider (APP) with three (3) years of hepatology experience.
- Available for bimonthly meetings November 2024 - November 2025, along with an in-person kick-off meeting at The Liver Meeting in San Diego, CA, November 15 - 19, 2024.
