Membership Categories
International
Annual Dues: $395.00
Persons otherwise qualified for regular membership, but residing in countries outside the United States, Canada, or Mexico. International members have all the rights and privileges of Regular membership, except the right to vote, hold office, and serve as committee chair.
Regular
Annual Dues: $395.00
Any scientist or physician or allied health professional as defined by the Governing Board, working in the United States, Canada or Mexico. Regular members have all the rights and privileges of membership, including the right to vote, hold office, and serve on Committees of AASLD.
Associate
Annual Dues: $141.75
Allied health professionals (for example nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists) who do not desire to become a Regular, International, or Trainee member, but who otherwise meet the criteria for Regular, International, or Trainee membership. Associate membership carries all the membership privileges, except the right to vote, hold office, and serving as committee chairs (except for any committee comprised of Associate members).
Trainee
Annual Dues: $25.00
Any physician, scientist, or researcher currently in training, as certified by the director of their training program. The membership would be for the duration of their training. Trainees have all the rights of Regular membership except the right to vote, hold office or serve as a committee chair.
Student
Annual Dues: $25.00
Any medical, nurse or pharmacy student currently in training, as certified by the director of their training program. The membership would be for the duration of their training. Students have all the rights of Trainee membership.
Corporate Affiliate
Annual Dues: $735.00
Non-medically trained individuals in the health care industry. A statement of their affiliation within the field will be required with application for membership. Corporate Affiliate membership carries all the membership privileges, except the right to vote, hold office, and committee service.
Emeritus
Annual Dues: Complimentary
Emeritus membership is open to any eligible Regular or International member. Emeritus members have all rights accorded Regular or International members.
An Emeritus Member Must:
- Be 65 years old;
- Have retired from full-time employment; and
- Have a minimum of 10 consecutive years of membership in good standing immediately preceding the request
