Photo and Video Disclaimer

AASLD plans to take photographs, audio, and video during our in-person events, and reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any AASLD event without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. AASLD may use the photograph/video in AASLD educational, news, or promotional materials, whether in print, electronic, or other forms of media, including on our website.

To ensure the privacy of individuals, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject.

A person attending an AASLD event (or one we are participating in) who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the photographer, and/or the event organizers, and/or contact AASLD at media@aasld.org and include an identifying photograph for reference. AASLD will use the photo for identification purposes (only) and will hold the request in confidence.

By participating in an AASLD event or by failing to notify AASLD, in writing, your desire to not have your photograph used by AASLD, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify AASLD from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.
