On July 9, AASLD hosted a webinar where speakers discussed the different testing modalities for SARS-COV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The role of antibody testing, and the interpretation were discussed, as was progress towards developing an effective vaccine. As COVID-19 continues to infect more people, vaccine development continues to be a necessity and a high priority.
