American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD ) Announces 2025 Events Schedule

Alexandria, VA—The American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD) is delighted to announce the 2025 calendar of events. The calendar is packed with educational opportunities to advance—or contribute to—the understanding and treatment of liver disease.

MASLD Emerging Topic Conference

  • Date: March 13-15, 2025
  • Description: In collaboration with Members and Program Chairs, AASLD hosts an Emerging Topic Conference (ETC) to introduce and inform attendees on significant and rapid emerging topics impacting the study, research, and practice of Liver Disease. This year, the ETC is being led by Chairs Juan Pablo Arab, MD, FRCPC, and Mazen Noureddin, MD, MHSc, focusing on MASLD, MetALD, and ALD: Challenges and Opportunities.

Basic Science Emerging Topic Conference 

  • Date: May 2-3, 2025
  • Description: Starting in 2024, AASLD started hosting its own day-and-a-half Basic Science, Emerging Topic Conference in conjunction with Digestive Disease Week (DDW). As the liver experts, AASLD expands the gastroenterology professional knowledge to discover the latest research and trends impacting liver health and disease. 

The Liver Meeting® 

  • Date: November 7-11, 2025
  • Description: Featuring cutting-edge research, educational sessions, collaborative forums, and groundbreaking research, AASLD’s flagship event, The Liver Meeting, is designed with the hepatology community in mind.
