2024 AASLD Special Interest Group (SIG) Elections
Special Interest Group (SIG) Elections Now Open!
We are very excited to announce that we have received so much interest both (peer and self-ballots) during this year’s SIG nominations.
The 2024 SIG Elections will run from Thursday, September 5, through Friday, October 4, 2024 (11:59 PM Eastern U.S. Time). As a member of an AASLD SIG community, you are encouraged to participate in this year’s elections by casting your ballot for all SIG(s) of interest. All eligible AASLD Members who serve on a SIG will receive an automatic email from Election Runner containing your Voter ID/Key, and a direct link to the election ballot. Please note that your voter link is unique to you, so please do not share with others.
Election results will be announced in mid-October.

1. How long will the 2024 SIG elections run for?
The 2024 SIG Elections will run from Thursday, September 5, 2024 (12:00 PM Eastern U.S. Time) to Friday, October 4, 2024 (11:59 PM Eastern U.S. Time).
2. Is anyone eligible to vote?
You must be an active member of AASLD to vote.
3. Where can I find a link to submit my ballot?
All AASLD members will receive an automatic email from Election Runner with a Voter ID/Key. The email will also provide you with the direct link to the election ballot. Example is in the next bullet.
4. I have not received an email from Election Runner, what should I do?
Check your spam inbox for an email from “AASLD.” The subject line will read: “Your Invitation to Vote in the Election: %YOUR_ELECTION_NAME%.” If you still cannot locate your election runner email, please email election@aasld.org
5. When will election results be announced?
Election results will be announced in mid-October. Results will be officially affirmed by the AASLD membership during The Liver Meeting® on Saturday, November 16, 2024. All members are invited to attend.
