Description

Every provider and patient communicate differently. During this program we will discuss ways to relay patient wants/needs to the provider; while also making sure the provider is able to educate the patient/caregiver. We will be sharing examples of pre-appointment templates, ps and tricks for geng the most out of your visit. By taking patient, caregiver and provider preferences into account, we can keep appointments a positive experience.

Objectives

  • Learn to prep for your appointment and use electronic communications to plan your visit
  • Bridge the gap between emotions and science, learn what labs are important and what patients focus on to provide better understanding of the disease process
  • Develop respect between provider and patient so goals of care can be established
