Objectives
A better understanding of HCV Elimination efforts connected components, History, and populations that require more attention to achieve elimination: incarcerated people, PWUD, (and AI/AN or International Success)
A key takeaway from this session should be to spur interest in helping patients with HCV see themselves as part of a global effort working together, not only are their lives improved, but the world for it. With stigma as strong as it is, a message of hope is only as strong as the messenger, a message of hope and belonging is stronger and helps at eroding stigma via self-esteem and a perception of a stronger "invisible" support network.
