Biography

Ava Gass was diagnosed with a liver disorder in 2005 at 6 weeks old. After being listed for transplant in December 2020, we began the process of finding a living donor. Her father, James Gass, was found to be a match and In June of 2021, at 16 years old, she received a living donor liver transplant from her father. Ava and her dad have been doing great since transplant.
