In this joint symposium of the JSH and AASLD, attendees will hear an international perspective to address the important topics of high-risk organ donation and non-invasive evaluation of chronic liver disease. Experts will present the current state of the art in their respective regions and debate optimal management on these hot topics.

Objectives

  • Describe management of HBV and HCV after liver transplantation in the US and in Japan
  • Explain the role and use of non-invasive tests for fibrosis in patients with NAFLD in the US and in Japan
