With 7,000 known rare diseases, how do you get attention for your rare liver disease? With more awareness and understanding of your disease, both the general public and physicians will think of it and hopefully consider it for diagnosis. With greater knowledge of the patient experience and insights into the unique challenges that patients face, those in a position to offer treatment or develop novel therapies can help advance the care of those with the disease. Former CNN medical correspondent, Wilson Disease Association Board member and WD patient Rhonda Rowland will lead this discussion. Join us to learn from the experiences of others organizations representing rare liver diseases, patients and caregivers facing the challenges of living with them and share with other attendees what has worked for you.
