Description
This is a two part workshop with the target audience being attendees that have an interest in the current state of liver transplantation in two specific domains:
1) the current state and possible interventions to address inequities in access to liver transplantation
2) the current and future expanding indications and shrinking contraindications to liver transplantation, as well as some technical advances.
Objectives
- Be able to describe the factors that cause inequity in access to LT
- Descibe the expanding indications for LT
- Understand recent technical advances for minimally invasive liver and surgery transplantation
