Dr. Sellers is a pediatric physician-scientist and research and clinical development consultant. He earned his MD and PhD (in Molecular and Integrative Physiology) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and was trained in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Stanford, where he is currently an Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics. Dr. Sellers' work in academia and pharma has focused on improving the lives of individuals with complex and rare diseases, like cystic fibrosis, by providing excellent clinical care and advancing research and drug development. Dr. Sellers is internationally recognized for his expertise in the gastrointestinal, pancreatic and liver complications of cystic fibrosis. He is an active clinical investigator in areas of cystic fibrosis-associated liver disease and pancreatitis, with numerous collaborations with academic investigators, patient-advocate and professional organizations to make advancements in these areas.
