Young Kul Jung

Biography

Dr. Young Kul Jung is a Professor of Internal Medicine at Korea University Ansan Hospital, with extensive experience in hepatology and liver-related research. He holds a Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD in Medicine from Korea University. His professional journey includes roles as a visiting professor at Kyoto University and as the Director of the Guideline Committee for the Korean Association for the Study of the Liver (KASL).

Dr. Jung's primary research areas include cirrhosis, viral hepatitis, alcoholic hepatitis, and regenerative medicine utilizing iPS cells. With numerous publications in high-impact journals, he continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of hepatology and liver disease management.
