Dr. Stephen Congly is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Calgary in the Divisions of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and
Transplant Medicine practicing general and transplant hepatology. He completed his internal medicine and gastroenterology training at the University of Calgary and subsequently a fellowship in Hepatology at the University of Calgary and in Transplant Hepatology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester MN. He completed a Master of Science in Health Economics, Policy and Management from the London School of Economics and is the Medical Director of the Calgary Liver Unit. His research interests include health technology assessment, resource utilization, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver transplantation and health policy.
