Biography

Dr. Schwabe is a Professor of Medicine and the Director of the Digestive and Liver Disease Research Center at Columbia University. His research focuses dissecting the role of hepatic stellate cells in liver homeostasis and MASLD as well as the development of novel therapeutic approaches for liver fibrosis and liver cancer.
