Michelle Jenkins is a Physician Assistant/Associate working in Adult Transplant Hepatology at MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute (MGTI). She is a graduate of the George Washington University Physician Assistant Program and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Maryland College Park. She has served as Chair of the Mentorship Committee at MGTI and was a 2019 AASLD Mid-Career Hepatology Associate Scholar recipient. In addition, she actively served as a member of the Hepatology Associates and Clinical Practice Special Interest Groups for AASLD
Michelle currently oversees the clinical management of patients suffering from chronic liver disease, while also delivering care to individuals who have undergone liver transplantation. She is deeply passionate about liver disease, patient care, and education, all with a focus on enhancing their quality of life and achieving better outcomes. Michelle is grateful for the chance to gain insights from her patients and for the role she fulfills as a Physician Assistant/Associate within her team.
