Mark Muthiah, MBBS

Biography

Dr Muthiah is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist. He graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He subsequently undertook specialist training in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Hepatology, graduating as the valedictorian of his cohort. He undertook further research training in Hepatology in Virginia Commonwealth University, USA under Prof Arun Sanyal.
Dr Muthiah has a keen interest in Hepatology and liver transplantation and is currently the Medical Director of the Liver Transplantation Programme in the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore. His research interest is in the interplay of cardiometabolic diseases and the liver.
