Biography

Assistant-Professor at Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of São Paulo School of Medicine - HCFMUSP, with a PhD in Pathology at HCFMUSP and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF. He coordinates the Medical Residency in Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology and is a Professor of Postgraduate Studies in Gastroenterology at USP. Associate editor of Liver International, Currently, Vice-President of the Latin American Association for the Study of the Liver (ALEH) and FAASLD of the American Association for Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD).
