Biography

Dr. Kavish Patidar is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and Gastroenterologist and Transplant Hepatologist at Baylor College of Medicine and Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He received his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine; completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowships in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His major clinical and research interests include treatment and outcomes of acute kidney injury and hepatorenal syndrome in cirrhosis, complications of cirrhosis and portal hypertension, alcohol associated hepatitis, and critical care management in patients with acute on chronic liver failure.
