Dr. Christine Hsu is a transplant hepatologist, assistant research physician and staff clinician at National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases at National Institute of Health. She also has a adjunct faculty position at Georgetown University. Her research interests are aimed at improving outcomes of alcohol associated liver disease and hepatocellular carcinoma. She was a principal investigator on ACCELERATE-AH, which is a multi-centered consortium to evaluate outcomes of early liver transplant in patients with alcohol associated liver disease. She currently remains active on ACCELERATE-PACE, which is a prospective study evaluating outcomes in early liver transplant in patients with alcohol associated liver disease.
