Biography

Calvin Q. Pan, MD, MACP, FAASLD, is a distinguished Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine in New York, USA. He has held significant leadership roles in professional societies, including serving as Chair of Online Learning at the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), Co-chair of the 2024 AASLD Hepatitis B Practice Guidelines, and Chair of the Hepatitis B Special Interest Group.

Dr. Pan's research focuses on viral hepatitis, dedicating his career to advancing the prevention and treatment of these infections. He has an extensive academic portfolio, having authored over 250 peer-reviewed scientific papers and abstracts. His work has been featured in renowned journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Gut, Journal of Hepatology, and Hepatology, where he has served as the lead author.
