Annabella Shewarega

Biography

Dr. Annabella Shewarega is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale University School of Medicine. She earned her medical doctorate from the University Hospital Essen in Germany and has conducted her doctoral research at Yale's Interventional Oncology Research Laboratory. Currently, she is completing a PhD in Biology at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany. Her research focuses on developing quantitative imaging biomarkers to improve the diagnosis, characterization, and image-guided therapy of liver cancer.
