Biography
I am a professor of Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, specializing in liver transplantation, with an active translational research program. Current research focuses on genetic predictors of post-transplant metabolic diseases, the use of genetically modified liver xenografts in acute-on-chronic liver failure, and identifying biomarkers and predictors for alloimmune activation to improve rejection diagnosis and immunosuppression management.
