Description

This MTE session will focus on implementing hepatitis C virus screening and linkage to care during pregnancy. Topics will include partnering with ob/gyn to provide hepatitis C screening, approaches to counseling and treatment of pregnant people with hepatitis C, and screening of perinatally exposed infants.

  • To understand rationale for hepatitis C screening during pregnancy
  • To identify approaches to improve the hepatitis C care cascade among pregnant people
