Jesse Kirkpatrick

Biography

Jesse Kirkpatrick completed his PhD in the lab of Dr. Sangeeta Bhatia at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, during which he developed nanotechnology-based methods to enable the early detection of lung cancer. As a postdoctoral researcher, he is applying these tools to cholangiocarcinoma, while also developing in vitro models to study primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). He is also a medical student at Harvard Medical School and a board member of PSC Partners Seeking a Cure. In his free time, Jesse enjoys competitive ballroom dancing.
