Description

The session is dedicated to three topics of interest to broad clinical hepatology practice. Attendees will learn about the latest updates and practical approaches to common clinical scenarios encountered in daily practice by experts in the disease state.

Objectives

  • Utilize fibrosis assessment in NASH as risk stratification to guide therapeutic interventions and describe the role of diet, exercise, and use of weight loss medications
  • Interpret advanced imaging techniques used to differentiate common benign and malignant liver masses
  • Identify appropriate anticoagulation therapies for use in cirrhotic patients with indications other than PVT and understand bleeding risk assessment before invasive procedures
