Erika Miller
Biography
With almost two decades of experience, Erika Miller is a seasoned health care policy professional who helps clients engage with Congress and federal agencies. She has a wealth of expertise in federal appropriations, payment, coverage, quality, and health care access issues. Erika helps her clients understand and interpret complex policies and influence them to meet their goals, including securing federal appropriations, increasing reimbursement for Medicare services, and revising coverage policies. Erika is a co-author of a chapter entitled “Lobbying the Appropriations Process” in the American Bar Association Lobbying Manual. As a New Jersey native, she worked in the office of Congressman Steve Rothman of New Jersey, a member of the House Appropriations Committee, where she handled immigration issues. Erika also worked in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Women’s Health, where she monitored grant awards. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Society of Women’s Health Research, has served as co-chair of the Women in Government Relations Health & Social Policies Task Force and is member of the group Women Business Leaders in Health Care.
