Emerging Translational Approaches Targeting Cellular-geospatial Heterogeneity in Cholangiocarcinoma

Description

The recent advances in the cellular and geospatial immuno-genomic heterogeneity of cholangiocarcinoma may impact the future therapeutic approaches for this malignancy. Attendees will review the current and emerging strategies to manage the disease (i.e., treatment options and biomarkers) along with an overview of new findings and insights from new technologies of cellular and geospatial immuno-genomic profiling. In addition, attendees will learn about the utility of clinically relevant patient-derived experimental models toward the goal to achieve precision care of cholangiocarcinoma patients.

Objectives

  • Review newly approved therapeutic regimens and ongoing clinical trials of promising agents and strategies in cholangiocarcinoma
  • Overview potential biomarkers capturing genetic aberrations and genotype-immunophenotype relationships in cholangiocarcinoma
  • Overview new omic technologies and biological findings/insights about cellular and geospatial heterogeneity in cholangiocarcinoma tumor and tissue microenvironment and discuss their potential clinical relevance
