Basile Njei

Biography

Basile Njei, M.D., M.P.H., Ph.D., obtained his medical degree from the University of Yaoundé 1 in 2008 and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Edinburgh in 2009. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at Yale University (2011 to 2017). Dr. Njei also completed a clinical research fellowship at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System and obtained a Ph.D. in Investigative Medicine from Yale in 2022.
